LA HABRA — November 3, 2026. La Habra’s city holiday guidance says trash collection and street sweeping normally shift one weekday after Thanksgiving if the usual service day falls on or after the holiday.

Collection holiday rules

CR&R does not collect ordinary trash, recycling or green waste on Thanksgiving, Thursday November 26, 2026. Under the published policy, affected Thursday service moves to Friday and Friday pickups may move to Saturday.

A separate rule for street sweeping

La Habra says Friday street sweeping is not made up on the following Saturday; it resumes on the next normally scheduled sweep. Follow the posted parking restrictions and consult any updated municipal notice.

Where to ask

The city bills residential accounts; CR&R handles collection operations at 562-694-3730 or 866-742-8850. Don’t assume neighboring La Habra Heights follows the same hauler or schedule.
